On December 5-6, 2022, in Warsaw, the Industry Contact Point Sustainable Economy organized the first international event “Sustainable Economy in Horizon Europe – International Networking&Matchmaking (INSE2022)”. Below, a brief summary:
– The event was opened by Mr. Jurgen Tiedje from the European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation. In addition, there were eight other representatives of the European Commission among the speakers.
– The event was co-organized by the A.SPIRE Association represented by the Board of Directors – Mr. Pierre Joris (President of A.SPIRE) and Ms. Angels Orduna (Executive Director of A.SPIRE). They presented the potential of the Processes4Planet Partnership, which, from this year, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals is a member of.
– The event was also co-organized by the National Contact Point at the National Center for Research and Development. We also hosted a representative of the National Contact Point – Brussels Office and Business and Science Poland.
– During “Sustainable Economy in Horizon Europe” the calls for 2023-2024 within Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space were presented for the first time.
It was a very intense time. Attending Guests and those connected online could listen to 20 speakers in 6 plenary sessions. In addition, there were two pitching sessions and two networking sessions.
Dozens of conversations and exchanges of business cards provided many opportunities to create international partnerships to apply for Horizon Europe funds.
